I know the NAO getting the titles isn't popular, but Billy Gunn wrestles pretty damn well for being 50

I just don't understand why WWE is so afraid of making new stars.

Brie Bella has wrestled about 11 seconds of this match and hasn't STFU since the bell rang

Another question: When was the last time the US title was defended?

I think it was Billy Kidman vs. Psychosis.

Edit: nevermind, I completely heard it wrong. Thought he said Batista would be defending against one of these guys at WM

Remember when Eddy Guerrero used to "lie. cheat and steal?" The next guy who does that gimmick should bring a length of rope with him and tie it to the ones tag team partners are supposed to hold. That would be interesting because it would be something new.

"We're on the road to Wrestlemania." Yeah, but no one is steering the damned car. This writing team hasn't a clue.

You know, the wrestling was good, but nothing moved forward. Are Cena, Seamus and Bryan really in the Elmination Chamber? That will probably get overturned. Punk wasn't there. The Shield dissention from last night was not mentioned. Brock Lesnar came out only to have Heyman say "Brock's not fighting anyone." There's no interest for Batista/Orton except to boo Batista. Kane "came out of retirement" to fight Punk and he was nowhere in sight. "The Authority" makes an appearance at the beginning only to never be heard from again. So essentially, unless that was a change of plans to insert Bryan into the title picture as a result of last night, nothing happened in 3 hours.

The crowd had plenty to get behind in the main event, and they didn't. Indeed, Cena was every bit as over in that mach with the crowd as Bryan was.

Saw this mentioned in a blurb on wrestlezone. Bad News Barrett should have been number 30 at the Rumble. Image the boos he would have got for his character. It would have been perfect, but the writing team isn't clever enough to come up with something like that.

PPV's tend to draw different crowd's then Raw's do. Plus it was the Rumble and not seem B show PPV last night. I think that attributed to the hot crowd. The last few times Raw has been in town here the crowd has been flat, but the show was also bad. Outside of the post WM crowd Raw you aren't gonna get a white hot crowd on Raw like you do for a PPV.

Yeah that show last night was really bad. You could tell it was rewritten and rewritten poorly.

Forgot to mention. We ran in to Miz, Ziggler, Zeb, and Ryback after the show. They signed our chairs. Zeb asked for 10 bucks and I told him I am a tax paying legal and he should do it for free. He laughed.

Rewatched the HBK Bret Hart ironman match, and I noticed something that I never seen because I haven't seen the full match in so long.

After HBK won, Earl Hebner tries to fasten the belt around his waist, but it take forever to get it secured. The whole time HBK looks p-oed, and then he says the f-word and shoves Hebner out of the way.

Earlier in the match he bumped into a cameraman, and told him to "Get the **** out of my way before I knock you out*

Now I believe Bret when he mentioned that Shawn told him to get the f out of the ring.

Seems like HBK was irritated the entire match.

HBK was an a-hole. Go listen to Jim Cornette about HBK's and Vader's programs. He got away with murder and stepped on a lot of people. That being said, if it wasn't him someone else would have done it. That's the way the wrestling industry works.
