Sting comments on the warrior's passing and posted a rare picture with the warrior, very classy.

I can still remember the days of Sting and Rock, as "The Bladerunners" managed by "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert in Mid-South wrestling.

Wasn't he also the "Dingo Warrior" in the UWF? I liked the UWF, it along with WCCW were the little feds that could in the 80s then the NWA swallowed them up.

Wrestlezone.com is reporting this to. Both of these sites have been claiming an agreement for months but this is the first time I've seen both confirm that he has signed a contract

Does anyone really care about Sting?

I maybe would have cared about Sting if those weird promos were for him instead of Jericho in 2011/2012. The boat has sailed on Sting.

I 100% care about Sting and would mark out if he did sign but like I said, always rumored or mentioned but never happens.

You call the New Age Outlaws lame but you'll mark for Sting? He's older and worse in the ring than either one of the NAO.

I think its a big deal because he is the only WCW guy from the Monday night wars era who never appeared on wwe tv after the WCW buyout.

TNA is such a WWE copycat. CM Punk becomes champ they put the belt on Aries because he looks similal. WWE starts the authority angle they turn Dixie Carter heel and she forms her own group as a crocked boss. Daniel Bryan wins the WWE Championship TNA puts the belt on Eric Young probably because he has an orange and long beard.

Do you think today's crowds will react to Sting? It better be a smark crowd. Kids and parents won't have any clue who this guy was.

The majority was a smark crowd, it was in Pittsburgh. Like you said, "kids and parents" wouldn't of known who the NAO either.

I went to wrestlecon which is like the indies/TNA version of axxess during WM weekend. Sting was there and teased that 31 is his favorite number before he left. I recorded it on my Iphone if anyone out there would like to help me upload it and post it I will.

It would be surreal seeing Sting in a WWE ring after all these years. Kind of like when Bischoff walked out and hugged Vinnie Mac on raw.. just something you don't think you would ever see.

As far as Sting wrestling... meh don't really care at this point. I guess if you get a one time special match out of him thats good and all, but no need to have him wrestle on a full time basis. His in ring work is not very good at all at this stage of his career.

Very true. The time for Sting in WWE is far past. The only way he should really be involved in any kind of story line would be some type of controlling figure of a stable. I'd be quite happy if he simply wasn't involved in anything. The WWE actually has something good going with all their story lines currently. No reason to ruin that.
