Nope.

I was thinking about this last night. The way they debuted The Shield was fantastic. They didn't need these build up packages and really tacky stuff like that. Their actions spoke for themselves. I honestly hate most of these intro packages, they do nothing for me.

How does everyone feel about the Cena-Wyatt feud? I personally think the Super Cena booking is working here. Cena goes over. Cena destroys the entire Wyatt family although Cena wins. And as it continues, Wyatt will continue having trouble with Cena---forcing the crowd against Cena---until Wyatt finally force Cena to break and Wyatt goes over.

I was very into the feud until Extreme Rules. Their match was bad, even without the cheesy finish. Cena's character could certainly use some edge and I liked the way he called out the "universe" for voting him into a 3 on 1 match. But for all the strides he makes, he takes a few steps back any time he reverts to happy go lucky joke telling Cena.

I agree that the Shields debut was awesome. But, not every new talent can debut by attacking the top star. Also, its not the vignettes that suck, it's the characters. The Wyatts had awesome vignettes leading up to their debut (where they attacked a top star... Oops)

Me either. I can handle the all the goofy mid card fun stuff they want to throw out, no matter how much it makes me roll my eyes, but some guy prancing around sucking on a lollipop and making weirdo kissy faces just isn't for me.

I'm fine with the character, however, I just can't see it being much more than it actually is, which is fine. The roster needs mid-carders too.

I think the best that he can do is get a tag team partner and win those championships. But that's about it. I don't see any major singles feuds with even one of the lower card belts in his future.

I guess if they made Heath Slater even mildly relevant, albeit for comedy purposes there's hope for anyone

You know what I don't understand...

It seems that WWE has distilled Daniel Bryan down into a version of Cena light in terms of his move-set. Every single time a guy falls out of the ring on the camera side we know DB is going to dive into him. Every time Bryan hits a guy in the head he's going to drop to his knees, act dazed, and take kicks to the chest. Every time someone is in the corner DB is going to bounce off the turn buckle and drop kick them. Then when they fall we get the "Flying goat." It's like he's not allowed to wrestle any longer. It's all signature move after signature move. We all know he can chain wrestle, he can fly, he can brawl, etc. but WWE just seems to be holding all of that back. Is it just for the sake of familiarity? I don't get it. (My God I'm such a mark)

Yea, you're extremely spoiled.

I would think it would be incredibly hard to try and put on a 5-star match every Monday night, especially when the situation to move a story line doesn't call for one. Not only that, but the guy is wrestling 4-5 times a week. Let him do his base skill set, save his energy, so he doesn't burn out and he can stay healthy. You don't want another CM Punk who went out to try and tear down the house every night to the point where the guy was visibly hurt and he lost his desire to wrestle.

I could totally get behind a Fandango/Rose rage team.

They had a chance to do that when Raw was in Chicago and everyone and their mom thought Punk was coming back, but the chickened out and didn't do it. Would have been the perfect set up too.
