I don't dislike Mueller and I am glad he's a local boy that did well, but I find his constant NBA talk and comparing everything to the NBA to be too much personally. I think that he does do a good job overall, just that there are probably 15% of sports fans in this region that are ardent NBA followers (obv guessing that number but trying to prove a point) and the NBA doesn't warrant that amount of mentioning.

A lot of the males in Mueller's age group (I am one of them) in this area are hockey and/or Penguin fans* Just seems odd how he seems to favor the NBA. I'm sure there are others in this area like him, but it is not the majority. Maybe it is an act?

Again, its not the fact he likes the NBA. Anybody can, I dont give two craps. But his attitude of 'hey, im going to talk NBA and make jokes how I dont follow hockey because it annoys people" is really stupid. He was in super troll form during one of the Islanders losses and thats prob the worst time for an NBA fanboy who really doesnt like hockey to get on twitter and basically ridicule pens fans. Like I said, if he wants to turn what little fans and listeners they have against him, then go ahead.

lol. 167 pages of people discussing how they dont like this person or that person or so and so is terrible, we get to Mueller and now you're school girl giddy over it?

Anyone else having problems with iHeartRadio? I'm having issues with it skipping but I don't think it's issues with my internet connection as the feed picks back up from where it left off. It just started doing this yesterday.

I actually like Tunch in isolation and think he's good on the radio broadcasts (excepting when they throw it to Woolf during the game for 10 seconds of chalooch filled nonsense). When its him and Woolf hosting a call-in show, not so much.

What I like most about them was the "this can't be real" element of the show. Once they interviewed Ike Taylor during training camp at about 7 in the morning. It was maybe the greatest piece of radio ever made. Taylor mostly yawning, but when he did respond, those responses were not necessarily consistent with what the other two were asking.

Hillgrove has been making more and more mistakes over the last few years. Thank god the Pitt BB side got Curtis Aiken to join them because Bill and Dick wouldn't even know which teams were playing if he wasn't there.

Wait are they gone or something? I thought you meant you missed them in that its the offseason so they are low-profile right now.

the best part about the aiken/groat/hillgrove dynamic is that you can tell groat hates having curtis aiken around.

They are on hiatus until the start of training camp I believe.
