Anyone else watch the premier of The Following tonight on Fox? This is the best network show I have seen in years. Kevin Bacon as a drunken ex-FBI detective, and James Purefoy!!! (aka Marc Antony of Rome) as an insane serial killer. I normally absolutely hate cop shows, but this is more a serial killer show with a lot of horror aspects, really awesome for a network show.

Tonight's Castle episode was really good. I thought it was that person who did it at first, but then, and as usual, they jumped from one suspect to the next and kept you guessing until the last 5 minutes.

Stupid DVR got screwed up and I didn't tape HIMYM. And CBS is the only channel w/o On Demand to watch later. Guess I'll ahve to stream it.

Don't Trust the B was supposed to be new again last night, but it seemed like an early one.

Not sure what is going on with that show. I love it, but now it seems it won't have a very long shelf life anymore.

in the hulu department, 7 episodes in (of the 13 total) of "That 80s Show" from 2002. While it grows on you as it progresses, it appeared to try and capitalize on the success of That 70s Show, which was in its 5th season when this aired. Only problem is they couldn't get the dynamic that 70s Show had. That and the setting of 1984 and San Diego, and a smaller yet older base cast. Near as I can tell, the only alums of this show that went on to anything is one is on Grey's Anatomy and the other on Always Sunny.

I watched the pilot of that HBO show "Girls" last night because I remember reading that it was nominated for a bunch of stuff. It was weird, probably won't continue to any more episodes.

They are only in the "audition" phase now. The actual competition starts in another week or so.
