30 Rock series finale wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. I'm still terribly bummed to see it end.

That's the thing with Boardwalk Empire. I like it well enough and it's well-crafted (good cinematography, dialogue, acting, etc.), but I'm very rarely super-excited to see next week's episode. Conversely, I was extremely glad I was watching The Walking Dead on Netflix so I could just find out what happens next without waiting a week. I just think that Boardwalk Empire avoids the occasional ridiculously bad subplots, acting, and dialogue that you find in my third tier, so it's higher quality, even if less entertaining (although reading that, I'm not sure that makes sense).

If you seriously did not enjoy season 3 of Boardwalk Empire, the show is not for you. It was fantastic. Admittedly, it was very inconsistent the first two seasons.

The middle part of season 2 of The Walking Dead almost ruined the show for me. Fortunately, it has recovered.

House of Cards is just awesome. It is worth getting Netflix for one month and cancelling.

House of cards is the best thing on tv now and I think netflix might just have their hands full come award season. I saw some articles complaining about netflix releasing all episodes at once saying it ruins the impact of the show over the long haul (no weekly water cooler talks, etc). What say ye? I personally think a lot of these shows benefit from not waiting a week in between

Episode 13 spoiler "House of Cards"

Spoiler:
The scene where she talks about her dream and "the children" was haunting, especially when you learn about her three abortions.

damn. was up until 2:30 watching Walking Dead (my wife had already taped the two after it). Why weren't we watching this when it aired originally? Looks like they are airing a season 2 marathon on 2-9, and season 3 to date on 2-10.

Kevin Spacey would have been my Congressman in 2010, he would be DelPen's current congressman.

Interestingly enough, I cringed at the thought of a 22 year Democratic House member from Gaffney, SC. There aren't many Democrats up there, but the 5th District was primarily Democratic until the 2010 election. It was split when we gained a 7th Congressional seat.

Great show so far (2 episodes today!)

Spoiler:
I was as excited at seeing the Robin Sparkles episode as the characters were...I almost acted the same too. Helps that I have a friend from Toronto that has some similarities. haha

Has anyone watched the new season of An Idiot Abroad on the Science channel, or An Idiot Abroad in general?

It's the 3rd and final season, and unfortunately, it's only 3 episodes. Warwick Davis is with Carl this time around, and they have awesome chemistry together. It's a shame there likely won't be more seasons because I really enjoyed the two together.

I've watched the last seasons. Both have been great and have really funny moments. I have a hard time understanding the accents sometimes so I have to put CC on.

Im really enjoying The Following. Not sure how you can drag this out for multiple seasons and keep it fresh without making it just another Criminal Minds.

Great story and premise. Acting is hit or miss. Some of it is great while some is bottom of the barrel. It's genuinely scary. I've jumped a few times. There's more gore than I though would be allowed at 9pm on a network station.

Yeah, I thought it was decent as well. Maybe not the best of the series, but it was good.

I do know that I laughed more during that episode than at any other one I can remember. Maybe cause it's been so long since there was a really funny (not just good) episode. The Canadian Behind The Music was what had me rolling. I love Canadian humor (read: humor at Canadian's expense)
