I found the Luc cameo strange. But it was a funny episode.

That show is pretty unwatchable these days. This is the last season, right?

Yes. Outside of Kevin and every once in a while, Dwight, it really hasn't been that great.

My favorite Kevin-ism is that his cover band was called Scrantonicity.

I started watching Breaking Bad for a second time. The episode where they introduce Saul Goodman is absolutely fantastic. I forgot how good some of the earlier episodes were.

Thoroughly enjoyed House of Cards. Really, really good. It's got another 13 episodes lined up, and they are filming them this spring for broadcast perhaps late fall, early spring next year. I would like to see another season or two beyond that, but I like the UK model of not beating a good series to death. Smaller seasons, longer episodes and so on.

Spoiler:
Very sad about Peter Russo, and how Underwood barely even commented on his death. Callous and shallow politicians. Also, interesting that these are Democrats. :pop:

finished homeland season 2

what an amazing ending

Spoiler:
is there any way that saul is not a mole? just the camera work between the two scenes and the fact that they had to bury nazir at sea the exact same time as the VPs ceremony was odd. and saul asked carrie if she wanted to go with him with nazir, trying to protect her.

Somehow found the dvr space for both marathons of Walking Dead. Had to go through a marathon of my own of Franklin & Bash to do it. 11 eps in all. Weird seeing Dr Crusher as a judge (recurring role for Gates McFadden) or Ernie Hudson for that matter.

finished up House of Cards last night. Easily the best new show of the year, up there with Mad Men, Newsroom, and Homeland for me, so intense.

Spoiler:
I'm not sure what it says, but I find myself rooting for Underwood more than anyone on the show. Everyone is pretty much terrible and evil, but I've really grown to despise the journalists. I have no idea how Frank is going to get out of this mess starting to unfold, I have a feeling that Stamper is going to be the fall guy, but that seems like it's too easy and this show was anything but easy. Going to be a long wait until season 2, what a way to end the season!

My wife and I have been flying through the Arrested Development series on Netflix...watched about 15 episodes in the last three days. How did I miss this show back in the day?

stumbled upon the SciFi airing of Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Guts yesterday - they assembled into a 3 hour time window what was labeled as "Pilot". Apparently the premiere was on Sunday - I had heard about it but forgot about it with a night Pens game and all. To get it all, had to manual-record in 6 half hour segments across our two DVRs, and watched the first 42 minutes worth this AM. Seems like it has promise - set in between Caprica and the prior SciFi BSG series, when William Adama is fresh on his first mission. Kind of a twequel in that regard. Don't have any spoilers as I really only got as far as the 2nd commercial break. The opening was the same as a YouTube video that may have been in this thread earlier - I never made it past the first one, so the rest is new to me.

This was on the DVD of season 2 for Archer. I like the T-Rex one from season 1 where a T-rex replaces Archer for the Pilot.

BTW, not sure if I missed it or not, but HIMYM was signed on for a 9th and final season. Kind of wish it would have ended this season, but at least they have a clear cut ending. Still think they will show the mom this season.
