Arrested Development...

Spoiler:

Spoiler:
I haven't finished it yet, so I can't judge the annoyingness of the ending. However, I did read interviews this past week with Hurwitz and Jeffrey Tambor, in which they both seemed pretty certain there would be a movie or another Netflix season. Given the show's history with cancellation and the apparent difficult of getting everyone together to do this, this attitude might not be wise, but it could explain why they ended it the way they did.

Wait a second. So all AD episodes from this season were already released on Netflix? It's giving me some Silverlight error and I can't seem to load anything there. I think I need to update whatever it is.

If that's so, why doesn't someone record them for FC44? I don't even know how to record off Netflix.

hopefully there is more. there is a good bit of story left to tell. without any resolution, the whole new season is pointless.

Kinda bored with the first 3 episodes (new season) of arrested development. Not sure I really like each episode dedicated to a character, maybe it will pay off in the end, but so far it's a bit slow

I am having a real problem with Silverlight. I can't load Netflix. Tells me there is an error with Silverlight and to click start/control panel/ blah blah... uninstall Microsoft Silverlight. So when I click that it tells me it's preparing to uninstall and then it waits like that for 15 minutes and eventually disappears without doing anything. So I tried to install a fresh copy on top of the messed up one but when I clicked on it it just told me that the same version is already installed and that's it, kiss my ass. So I can't uninstall it and I can't install a new one overriding the broken one. Thanks a lot Microsoft, love your products.

Found an automatic "fix it for me" cab from MS that allowed me to uninstall Silverlight. I rebooted. Went to netflix which told me it needs to install Silverlight. OK. It did. I am getting the same error (2105) and can't load any movie. I love MS. :)

It worked on Chrome, but not IE, so I reinstalled IE, then Silverlight and now it works. Also, my jpg saving problem was fixed. Something went really wrong with IE somewhere.

new season of AD episodes 4,5,6 were much better than the first 3. Episode 4 was the best so far.

Ive watched the first 7 episodes of the new season of AD. The one centering around GOB (episode 7) is my favorite so far.

I gotta re-watch episodes 1-4 though, since I woke up at 5am on Sunday morning and watched them half asleep.

Discovery aired the show last night.

Didn't Discovery used to be about credible science?

On the guide it describes this show as "Science.Nature" but it was so hokey I only got through 20 minutes of it.

Seriously FC44, are you willing to pay more than $8? Cause, if so, Netflix is your best option brobraham.

I watched the pilot, loved it, and then read that it had no chance of making it. My wife and I have a habit of picking shows that don't make it past season 1 (The Cape, Flash Forward, etc.). Our thought was, NOT THIS TIME PAL!!! so we stopped watching it...

...3 seasons later and still going strong. Well played Nielsen....well played....

The final two were a little too goofy, but OMG, Nick (is that the main cop's name? I really don't pay attention to these things) is SCREWED. :scared:

Arrested Development: Episode 1 was okay, episode 2 was a mess, episode 3 was a bit more like it, and with episode 4 it feels like this season has hit its stride. Looking forward to some more Gob and Buster.

Netflix is also available as a phone app, if he has a good phone. But he said he STEALS internet from his neighbor.. I guess that's for his PC, but that probably really isn't too reliable.

I saw a torrent for all episodes at 1080, but 1080 makes such huge files the thing was almost 18GB. I never download 1080 for myself even (and I stay away from torrents), and I only stick to 720 mp4 or mkv. I see one place which has them all in 720 - 15 episodes - at like 200-300mb each. Even that is a lot of work since depending on the file storage site speed, it can take an hour to d/l one episode on a free account. Then you often have to wait an hour to start downloading another file.

FC, if you're ok with 720 (which looks great especially if you're watching on a pc monitor), maybe I could do it, you'd just have to give me like half a week to a week to d/l them all. And I'd put Mario Lemieux or something on the envelope when sending, lol.
