You can see a preview of Comedy Central's upcoming show "Drunk History" on demand (I have Armstrong Cable though).

This was big on youtube a while back wasn't it? Guess CC decided to make it a show. I am surprised at some of the actors/celebrities showing up in these skits. Fun to watch and see who appears next.

Under The Dome

I really liked the pilot. I'm not sure how long you can have a standard 1 hour (essentially 42 minute) series continue when based on a single book though. After the pilot I decided that I am going to pick up the book cause I gots ta know wth is going on. It's very LOSTesque in it's approach so far. No flash backs but a lot of crazy plot lines developed in just one episode. Decent effects as well. Minor spoiler..........I mean the cow was cut in half. That was awesome.

Yeah, seems like a 10 episode single season thing. I guess the idea lends itself to go off on a resolutionless series of several seasons.

This is why I am picking up the book today. I fear it wont make it to a conclusion and I really have to know. LOST didn't have an option to go read the book to find out but if it did I would have on day 1.

Anyone here read the book and watch the pilot?

I highly doubt the TV series will use the same ending as the book.

I enjoyed the pilot for the most part. I really don't know why they changed so many of the characters and subplots though. It's a huge book with plenty of material for a few seasons. Just seems like they're going to muddy it up with the changes but time will tell.

the HUB airs this show, along with ALF, Doogie Howser, Laverne & Shirley and Happy Days on a regular weeknight basis. Family Ties might even be in their rotation.

So the final season of Dexter starts this Sunday. For a show that has been so popular over the years, it seems like the final season is getting zero buzz.

.there's a sneek preview of the first episode of Ray Donovan on demand, it wasn't too bad, not a lot happened, was more of here's everybody and a little background so you'll know why we're all so dysfunctional, it did look like it could have possibilities depending on where they take the characters......

Ahhhh, TNT app has the 2nd ep of Franklin & Bash that I missed. (DVR caught and recorded the season premiere but not the 2nd ep). Not sure of their other shows as far as numbers of eps go, but the app has both season 3 eps of F&B. Kind of works like Hulu - though more ads at each break.

Half way through this season of Mad Men. I am really enjoying it so far. Not as predictable as some of the previous seasons have been. I still don't know what to think of Bob or his overall role in the show.

Mad Men:
Spoiler:
Just watched the finale last night. Not really sure what to make of it. Everyone is pretty much going downhill, except Bob. And I'm still not really sure what to make of him. Did his friend kill Pete's wife and they were trying to get money out of the deal? Is Bob just a con man, who is going to end up trying to take Joan for a ride too? It's hard to make Pete a sympathetic character, but Bob did that. Gotta figure next season starts with Don back at the company. Did Pete choose to go to CA, or was he shipped off there?

If you like the first season, then you're in for a real treat. I did not like it until I got through like midway through season 1. Then it became amazing.

The fact that anything, especially something on a major network is still broadcast in SD makes zero sense to me. Stuff is almost unwatchable on my bigger tv.
