It's this kind of thinking that leads to Journey still putting out albums.

I have no idea what this means but it made me laugh

It's being written by the creator of Picket Fences. How dare you make such a reckless assumption.

Cause everything Robin Williams has touched in the last 10 years has been terrible...

Due to the constant rain over the weekend, I caught up on lots of DVRage.....I've made it through the first 10 episodes of Mad Men.
Great season so far, but wth is up with that Bob dude?

Also, Megan is my least favorite character.

I might be biased because of her Zou Bisou Bisou routine at the beginning of season 5, but I like Megan. In season 4, you assumed her to be the typical ditzy, gold-digging secretary, but I thought season 5 showed that she's fairly intelligent, capable, ambitious, and a genuinely nice person. I really disliked Betty (although this past season redeemed her a bit), but I'd never cheat on Megan.

I've heard Amanda ask him on 2 separate occasions if he wanted to take a shower with her and he was like,"Nnnnnnaaaahhh." I thought it was pretty funny.

McCrae looks like a weird combo of Loki, and Smeagol. Being a pizza delivery guy he sure scored above the line.

When I firs saw him, he reminded me of the older version of Geddy Lee from Rush.

drank coffee last night so I could stay up and put in some work on Twin Peaks. Pretty sure it's my favorite show now. I don't ever remember something being on TV that's so brilliantly done, it's truly frightening, can't believe this made it on cable at one point. I wonder what the reception was when this was all first aired?

Spoiler:
Ended last night with the arrest of Leland/Palmer, what a crazy scene in the jail with the sprinkler. Also when he's attacking Maddy, holy smokes, that was some crazy television.

I didn't know the first episode was a 90 minute premier. We started it at 11:30 thinking we could hit the sack by 12:30. My wife fell asleep with about 30 minutes left so we'll have to pick back up there this evening.

I watched the entire series back when it first aired. I was 9 years old. With the exception of knowing "who did it" this is basically just like my first time through. I have to say, this show is genius. The soundtrack is possibly the best in TV history. The stories, character development, interwoven plot lines, cheating, and mystery were all masterfully done in just the first episode. Even the appearance of just the right hand of BOB at the end was enough to give me chills. Very excited for the rest of the series.

Was the series cut short or was it originally supposed to be 2 seasons? I see it was a mid season add on as season 1 is only 10 episodes long. Is there a resolution at the end of season 2? I just don't want to be left hanging. A cliff hanger is one thing but a series just stopping on what is supposed to be just a season cliff hanger (as opposed to a series ending cliff hanger) is no fun.

I'm not real sure, I started looking around but stopped as I was afraid of some spoilers. I can say at ep 18 with 10 left I can definitely see closure to the series. Don't forget about the twin peaks: fire walk with me movie that acts as a prequel to the series (but watch it afterwards as it gives away major spoilers for the show).

Ive seen the movie. My wife has actually only seen the movie and that was YEARS ago. She had no idea it was a prequel. She thought it was a continuation of the series.

Side note:
Back in our "hippie" days my wife and I were finishing an acid trip and went back to her place. He mom was supposed to be at her grandparents house for the weekend but was, in fact, sitting in the living room watching the backward talking midget dancing scene from the show when we walked in. It was the definition of shock....
