Hopefully cutting out half the episodes will mean better writing and avoid the need for the pointless subplots they were forced to add to fill out 24 episodes.

I really enjoyed the first few seasons, but by the end I was over it.

we came into it in the 4th or 5th season, forget which. Bought the first 3 on DVD... have watched but 8 hours of season 1 (or is it hours?), just no time to catch up. Too much other stuff on.

Great News... Not only is there a 4th season, they are doing 13 episodes instead of 10.

Burning Love season 2 started up this week, so far so good. Great cast for the guys this time around, pretty much a party down reunion.

cast
June Diane Raphael as Julie Gristlewhite, the bachelorette
Michael Ian Black as Bill Tundle, the host
The contestants[edit]
Adam Scott as Damien, Mark's former "psychologist"
Joe Lo Truglio as Alex, the single dad who’s emotional about not seeing his son
Paul Scheer as Robby Z, a party motivator
Rob Huebel as Simon, a prince
Jerry O’Connell as Henry, a contractor from Provo, UT and an all-around good guy
Adam Brody as Max, a decent human being who happens to be Jewish
Michael Cera as Wally, an intellectual who is a hopeless romantic
Colin Hanks as Allison, the classy one
Martin Starr as Leo, the grown up premature baby
Ryan Hansen as Blaze, the bad boy
Nick Kroll as Khris, a baby-sitter
Kumail Nanjiani as Zakir
Nick Thune as Teddy, the musical one

do you watch them as the web series? I started 1st season like that, but then waited until they put them together and aired them on E. Ken Marino is hilarious.

from what I remember, they are 10 minute episodes on yahoo and then about 9 months later they are edited together for 30 minutes on E. Not sure if they are on DVD, but I just googled it and yahoo has season 3 episode 1, so I'm guessing you could watch them all there.

Rumors of "Preacher" being developed for AMC.

It appears that we may know who is behind this adaptation of "Preacher" now. A few hours after the story broke, Seth Rogen tweeted the following: "Looks like about seven of years of hard work are about to pay off. I may get to bring one of my favourite stories ever to life....Arseface. John Wayne, The Saint of Killers." Well with teasing like that, an official announcement seems imminent. The original story follows below.

http://www.superherohype.com/news/articles/180361-is-amc-developing-preacher-for-television

Preacher is my favorite graphic novel series and as much as I would love to see it on TV, I really don't see how this is possible or at least possible for it to be done faithfully. HBO passed on this. When HBO feels like the content is too extreme to commit to a series, how can AMC?

Anyone watch the premiere of Almost Human last night?

It was OK and I'll watch again tonight, but it has to get better if it'd going to last more than a season.

Unfortunately this seems to the the mold lately. Great show ideas but not quite delivering. However... the production quality seems quite high so I think that the network has put a lot of money into it which means that they intend to keep it going.
