HIMYM Finale
Spoiler:
I never thought the Barney and Robin relationship worked so I was glad they broke up. But it did seem a little rushed considering this whole season was about their wedding weekend.

I did want Ted and the mother to end up together because they seemed perfect for each other in the limited screen time the mother got. The death of the mother didn't have as big an impact as it could have however because she was barely in this season.

The whole Love in the Time of Cholera theory has been out there for awhile so I'm not outraged he ended up with Robin.

I don't watch too many shows, but most of the programs I like had pretty good finales:

-The Office
-Miami Vice
-24

As I've got older I like the Quantum Leap one more. Mash was a sad mess.

Too many shows stay on the air for too long, so the finale can't be that good because the show isn't good anymore. Once they jump the shark in a major way the finale isn't a payoff for what made the show great.

Annoyed.

That's the only word for HIMYM.
Spoiler:
Spend the whole damn season-plus (two really) between finding out who the wedding is, and getting to the wedding, then a season at the wedding, only to blow through the wedding in 90 seconds in the penultimate episode, and before the finale is halfway over it's already been thrown away.

That last bit of the kids encouraging him to go after Robin... it that was 2030 and all, where all of those scene narrations has been Bob Saget, why wasn't it Bob Saget's voice dubbed over there....

Spoiler:
Fine I guess if they stopped it when Ted and Tracy are at the train station. I'm okay that the mother dies, but then with the blue horn and Robin it's like she is Ted's true love and not Tracy.

Better ending - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0caCEG1nH3E

That may be part of the issue though. Some of the stuff they did during the last few weeks were reflected back in seasons past and tied things together. A lot of small things.

Which is 100% fair.

my main issue with seinfeld is that they showed flashbacks for some reason. people already knew who babu and the soup nazi were. what a waste of valuable time.

The Following from Monday...
Spoiler:
Jack Bauer, er, Ryan Hardy is visited by a ghost

Ok, so really:
Spoiler:
Claire thinks she can help him. So they reveal she is alive at the end, leaving Mike to run explaining why he had lied to Ryan as she walks in his door.

Spoiler:
This episode is more Lily-Gray centric, but still some Joe Carroll moments. Where Robert has his doubts, and instead of killing him, Emma seduces him.

watching Modern Family... I wish they would have developed Luke's character a little more. He's just a non-attractive form of Hailey. I wish he would have sports or maybe just one subject like math or something that he's way better than Alex at, but as it stands, he's just not a very good character.

loved last season, not real excited with AMC splitting the last season up. That should be starting fairly soon I'd think. I'd like to rewatch the entire series this summer before the last half of S7 comes out
