I never watch the After the Catch. What happened?

Apparently, this year they are going to focus one one ship each episode... This week was the Time Bandit. (Next week is the Northwestern).

I guess at some point Keith and John buried the hatchet. They didn't really go into details, but they shook hands and seemed friendly throughout. There was a small feature where they sent the 2 of them around to some weird voodoo stuff (It's taking place in New Orleans).

Other than that, they looked back at the season for the Time Bandit... covering stuff like the dangerous trip through the False Pass and such. At some point it was revealed the Mike bought a boat and was going out Salmon fishing this summer. Whether this means he will be on his own come next crabbing season, not sure.

They brought Scott in later as well and discussed the future with him and potentially taking over the boat and such.

It wasn't anything earth shattering, but it was interesting anyway.

Great article. Sounds like Josh is really the "grown-up" in the family. Also glad to hear he is taking the "no smoking" thing seriously.

Wow. Even though I knew what was coming, tonight's episode was really hard to watch.

And my admiration for Josh grew even more. He knew exactly how to act, and react.

Man, that was tough to watch at the end. :(

Kinda weird though... after seeing After the Catch last week, then in this week's episode The Hillstrands offer the boat to Mike... so I guess something happened between this episode and ATC? :?

Ditto to wicked child. I bet he turns it down. That is why he bought his own boat.

Josh is definitely the man to run the boat.

I thought it was a pirate t-shirt, as opposed to a Pirates t-shirt. I'll have to watch again.

The next couple episodes are only going to get worse.
Spoiler:
Phil's death is going to be even harder to take after next week's episode where it looks like he's going to pull through.

Melancholy and helplessness. I felt so badly for all of them, knowing what is coming.

Spoiler:
Sig eavesdropping on Edgar was funny but sneaky.
Edgar is spent, he needs a break.
The clash between Josh and Jake was inevitable.
I think Andy and Jonathan are closer to Phil and his sons than any of the other captains in the fleet.

I got the last episode recorded on DVR. It's going to be sad to watch. Especially, like one of you said, we know the outcome.

I think throughout some of the other episodes or "After the Catch" stuff it has showed them and Phil hanging out/being friends outside of Alaska.
