Seeing McClouth and LaRoche play such a prominent role for playoff teams makes me angry.

Good

Meh, it's crappy. A team shouldn't get a decided advantage because of the schedule. Detroit and NY should be in the same situation. And not just saying it because it's the Yankees; I'd feel it was wrong for the O's had they won.

This Nats-Cards game is really crazy. Really enjoying watching playoff baseball having something to legitimately root for.

hahahaha. Man, how do the Cardinals continue to do this? Two years in a row down to their last strike multiple times and come back

Gotta give the Cards credit. Lot of heart on that team.

This is just brutal. Miserable series of sports events this week. Steelers lose. Pens officially miss first game. Nats lose.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were some incidents on the Metro tonight. A lot of very angry, probably drunk, extremely emotional people leaving that stadium. I have never seen DC buy into a team not named the Redskins like this. It hurts.

Yeah I'll definitely give them that, with the Skins or Caps there's not much true fandom but they were absolutely crazy about the Nats, even before this year.

Yeah. I mean, it was such a big deal to get the team in 2006 and they've been slowing growing their following since then and this year, everything clicked. They had a great season and that is just a brutal way to end it.

Wow. I wanted the nats to lose, but not like that. I root against them because nats fans are also caps fans. But once they started melting down, I was hoping they'd pull it out. Because I was imagining how miserable I'd be if that were the pirates.

Watched the McClouth play several more times this morning. Think the umps got it right. There's the one replay that shows it possibly nicking the pole, but I don't ink it was clear enough to overturn the call. Hats off to the O's for not making excuses. Buck is an awesome manager and I hope they can continue what they did this year into next season.
