Not sure how Gio gets out of being suspended, unless he gets traded to Milwaukee quickly.

Unless he tested positive, I'm not sure how he would get suspended.

Jason Grimsley and Jordan Schaefer were suspended without positive tests.

More on that last point:

http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/88933 ... -penalties

Not one of those players has ever tested positive for any PED. But that's irrelevant in a situation like this. The commissioner holds the power to suspend players without a positive test if there is firm evidence that they used, or even possessed, a banned substance.

Didn't realize the commish could do that, but still don't think it'll happen. Grimsley and Schafer admitted to using HGH, so it was a no brainer. If he didn't test positive and he doesn't admit to it the PA will fight it tooth and nail and will win.

Anyone have any idea if Machado is moving back to SS full time? Couldn't find much in a quick google search and can't really recall the plan.

They've still got Hardy, so I'd say he'll be at third again.

I've got machado, lawrie, goldschmidt and Rizzo fighting for 3 spots at 1B, 3B and corner in a keeper league. I need him to be SS eligible asap haha.

Braves are retiring Jones number on June 28. Why can't they do it before the weather in ATL gets unbearable? Not sure if I should try to go.

deferred money? I'd guess some players weren't familiar with the concept of the time value of money.

Jones to NYY would irritate every Braves fan on the planet.
Therefore, I would like to see that happen.

More people have walked on the moon (12) than men who have scored against Mariano Rivera in the postseason (11).

We can put a man on the moon, but can't create enough people to score against Mariano Rivera :grumpyoldguy.jpeg:
