What's up with the ketchup on hotdog thing. Isn't that commonplace?

My buddy put ketchup on his dog at Wrigley and took it back to the bleachers. You would have thought he killed a puppy

Apparently putting ketchup on a hotdog is looked down upon by many including Dirty Harry and the National Hot Dog & Sausage Council.

I know some people from Chicago and they yelled at me when I did it. I just said shut up and that is how I eat my hot dog and they are not normal there. I think some other cities it is looked down upon.

Since then, I've started eating them with mustard, onions and relish. And well, they're right.

This is likely good; they make excellent sauerkraut.

I find sweet relish and bread and butter pickles to both be disgusting.

I think you need something sweet with hot dogs, whether its ketchup or sweet relish.

The braves are mired in one of the more pathetic streaks in recent memory, but they are facing the Nats and Strasburg tonight, so maybe things turn around.
