If I were to drop one of my rookie skaters who lost their eligibility last year, but I was able to protect him as one of my 2 rookies who lost eligibility, would I still have his rights for the rest of the season? Or if I drop him, he is gone?

I assume he is gone, as at this point, it is no different than dropping one my regular keepers, but wanted to double check.
