I swore I'd never play a Yahoo! fantasy hockey league again the last time I lost on their ****ing idiotic tiebreaker in the playoffs. And here I am again.

Edit: Oh. They changed the rules. Oops.

What's going on in the league? I can't believe I missed the playoffs after finishing 1st in year 1 and 2nd in year 2. Ugh.

So, who's gonna win you think? Really ticked about Quincey going berserk! I had it up til that. And, my (m y) Konopka pick up didn't work (is he even in the league?? lol)!

Haha, yeah, Quincey finally did something worthwhile in the second half of the season.

The tiebreaker rule used to be most goals (what a ridiculously arbitrary rule), but I see they changed it to winning pct (based upon categories) over the season against that opponent. If tied after that it goes to higher seed. Since we only played once during the year and I took that matchup 9-1 it went to me. Heck of a finals, though!

Happy with third, my team is the Capitals tough crappy goaltending that doesn't seem to hurt me until the playoffs. Pair this with winning Pavel's league and it's definitely my best year of fantasy hockey.

Getting way ahead of everything here but when does the draft typically start? I couldn't remember and I'll be out of the country for a week in September. I really don't want to have to drop out of the league, I guess worst case I could find someone to fill in and draft for me while I'm gone.

The eliter company is joining beerman as having titles from two LGP leagues. Now if I can pull down the champ in baseball this year, I'll stand alone in the LGP fantasy sports pantheon.

Pavel Datsyuk

Rookies that could have an impact: Jacob Markstrom, Dustin Tokarski, Zach Kassian, Jonathon Blum.

It was a good finals! Pretty evenly played all week! And, I had it in the bag until Quincey showed up! Congratulations!

I can't seem to access them. Weird. I can get into the league, but just view draft results and the playoff tree.

Its pretty tough to anticipate runs on certain positions, etc. Really disadvantageous to have to do a list for the whole thing.

I can attempt to put a list together and hope for the best with that

I'll be gone the 10th-17th, if need be you can just find someone to take my team but I'd prefer to stay in

I still have your cell number (unless it changed this year). We can always to the text thing again.

I'm itching to go as well. Have to review my team!

I'm keeping:

Ryan Getzlaf
Mike Richards
Alex Ovechkin
Ilya Kovalchuk
Alex Semin
Ryan Callahan/Chris Kunitz/Kyle Okposo/Derek Roy/Chris Stewart/Stephen Weiss/Jakub Voracek
Erik Karlsson
Alexander Edler/Tobias Enstrom/Del Zotto
Henriq Lundqvist
Tuukka Rask

Listening to any trade offers on any of the above.

I wouldn't mind a rookie keeper upgrade over Jared Spurgeon.

Is rookie eligibility greater than 65 games? Adam Larsson played 65 games last year. If he is expiring, I still wouldn't mind a rookie keeper ugrade over Adam Larsson.
