Bummer ... for me! But I agree. Reverse order of final standings seems fair.

I've seen it argued that in hockey leagues with keepers less than 8 draft order should be random, especially with deep rosters. Idea being that standings are based a lot more on players 7-20 rather than 1-6, so its too much of an advantage for the bottom teams. I'm fine either way, random or reverse of standings.

I think draft order is completely irrelevant here, aside from maybe the first couple picks when a team has to dump a good keeper. This is the equivalent of round 7 of a normal draft, where players 12 and 13 are very comparable to 1 and 24.

Uh, my draft (the first season) was exceptional! I believe I finished that season in the top 3. Since you made me miss the draft last season, I got hosed big time!

I haven't seen EPF either, Kovy isn't banned I think he posted in one of the football threads just the other day.

I think we need a replacement for EPF, I haven't seen him either. Corv? Wow, goalies are being kept in this leaague---3 teams keeping 3 so far.

The one problem with reverse order is the rookie draft. In other words, I'll pick last in both. I'm not sure if this is unfair, like I said, I have no problem with 12 in the reg draft, but it is a consideration.

Did I mention how much I love fantasy hockey?

What would the problem with the rookie draft be? I assume the top rookies will be drafted in the regular draft anyway.

I'm not sure I was wondering why everybody's gone too, I went on vacation and when I came back everyone was out.

As far as the draft, is it a snake draft or is it the same order 1-12 each round?
