I have photosynth, it works pretty well the few times I've used it. I can't remember if it was free or .99 but I believe it was free.

And what exactly can do you with that app as opposed to the standard iPhone camera?

You can take a 360 degree picture of your surroundings. I've never tried to take a picture of myself. If I get the chance today, I'll pm you an example

is there a logical reason to want a 360 view of yourself?

I randomly got 20 cloud jumps out of fever mode in Tiny Wings, so all I have to do is get through Island 4 perfect.

I think having the current weather on the lockscreen makes sense. Or a stock ticker. RSS feeds. It's not like they're personal information. I think the lockscreen is a waste of space if all it has is a clock.

that makes sense. the ability to check and update your twitter, read whole emails, etc. seems kinda strange.

It's a privacy issue, for sure. I use all of it, but then again I'm not important so it makes no difference to me if people see who I follow on Twitter or who e-mails me. :)

The Facebook part of it is nice, considering how badly the Facebook app sucks. Also lets you text from the lockscreen or notification center instead of ulocking, going to Messages, etc every time you get a text. Another privacy issue, though.

I dropped my the other day and the screen is pretty much shattered.
Is this something that they could replace at the Apple store?

I don't know if those #Geniouses can fix it, but I know a few people who do it as a side business.

I did some research after I posted that and apparently they can, provided they have it in stock.
I'm going to be in Philly this week and will have to stop by and see.
