bought a keurig last week (it's getting shipped here this week). What's the best reusable K-cup out there? Ease of cleaning? Ease of assembly? other things to consider?

Hey man,

I'm pretty sure I just have the Keurig brand reusable K-Cup. I have NEVER had a problem with it (almost a year), it's pretty simple to just rinse the grains out, and I've never had any issues with grains in my coffee or anything else.

I have this one as well. Go back and read some of the previous pages if yours leaks. Some of the Keurig models replaced the neoprene stopper inside that forms the seal on the K cup itself. If yours has the new one, it will leak. You just have to go buy some 50cent rubber washers to fix it.

I've had mine for about a year and it hasn't leaked on me, or are we talking new like less than 3 months, 3-6 months, etc.?

Since I lost my wife I've been without my trusty Keurig machine. I saw Walmart has the B40 pro which includes 12 k cups in the box for $109.00. Does anyone have the B40 model? And also im looking for good cocoa and tea cups and iced flavored k cups. Recommended companies for said products would be cool.

12 pack I think, still not a horrible deal though. usually is $12.99 for an 18 pack.

It puts the coffee in the basket or else it gets the hose again.

the hot chocolate and similar stuff kills the keurig. The sugar crystallizes and you have to constantly clean it. Just a heads up.

Sam's Club has the Platinum model plus 36 K cups for 129. I have the B40 or something very similar at home. It works just fine, but for 20 more, you get way more k cups (justifies the price pretty much) plus a nicer Keurig.

I see this now. Do you know if its just an online deal or can I get it at the store?

Heck of a deal....dunkin donuts in Irwin has the B40 elite with 12 free K Cups for $99.99. Cheaper then $10.00 price wise for places such as Target, Walmart etc.

The whole Keurig thing seems odd, almost cultish.

I use a Keurig because I'm the only one that drinks coffee in my house. That bein said, I would never, ever pay an arm and a leg for K Cups. I just buy the big DD bags and use my reusable filter. Delicious coffee

Last week, Kuhn's had them for $4.88 and since my wife buys a box every two weeks, I've noticed they're on sale there often.
