Keurig K Cups

We have a Tassimo, I'm very happy with it. One main advantages of a Tassimo is that you can steam & froth milk, so you can make some pretty good Lattes. (the chai is really good).

The advantage of the Keurig is that you have way more choices in coffee. So it's a matter of preference. I'd research both though before buying either.

I also have a Chemex, which makes the best cup of coffee that I've ever had, at least at home. But for convienance, i use the Tassimo.

Costco/BJ's/etc usually have boxes of 80 for about $30-32 range.

Lots of ways. That's 67 cents per cup. You can get down to right around 50-53 cents if you use online outlets and order 24 packs or bigger. Amazon cases of 50 are cheaper, I think bigcatcoffee.com or coffeeforless.com are cheaper and you can get free shipping if you order over x amount.

Likes: Donut House, Wake Up Call, Organic, and if I'm feeling crazy Black Tiger all by Coffee People. I tend to like their coffee better than the Green Mountain or other brands for some reason.

You know, everyone swears by Donut House coffee that I know that has a machine. I just can't get into it.

My wife loves it. It's too light for me.

I think that's my issue with it too. I like a little bit stronger/darker roast. So maybe that's what I can't quite place my finger on.

If you want fast & easy okay coffee go for it (and expect it to break down in a year or two).

None of the Keurig choices can hold a candle to freshly ground & roasted beans.

I'm SERIOUS about having a DECENT cup of coffee every morning. I buy coffee that is ALREADY GROUND in brands like Starbucks, D&D, Green Mountain, whatever is on SALE. I like FAST and EASY, so I'll probably go for this.

Sam's club has them for what seemed to be roughly 50 cents a piece

I save a little money by using a big cup and running one K-cup filter 2 times to fill that cup, honestly it doesn't taste any weaker to me, my wife disagrees.

I got a sampler pack of Spicy Eggnog, Golden French Toast, and Gingerbread coffees. Only tried french toast so far and I'm really disappointed. I was looking forward to that one the most too. Not even sure what it tastes like. Not vanilla, but not regular either. My mother said it smelled good while I was brewing it.

Also got the apple cider. I usually like cider but this one was a little bit too tart. I'll drink it but I won't buy it again.

True enough. Pretty happy with keurig though. Starbucks is good, but still quite a but more expensive than the rest. Like most of the
Green Mountain bolds. For any of the flavored ones I've found they're too weak unless you brew it on the smallest cup size.
