My only military golfing memory was at the Groton Sub Base. It was called Goose Run, better known as Goose **** Run for the copious amount of droppings all over the fairways

I spent about a month at Groton. Never golfed there, but about 90% of the course was covered with geese at any time of the day.

We have some alligators, but they're pretty small and the course marshal usually gives us a heads up. And feral cats. You'd think the first problem would take care of the second one.

anyone see the trophy presentation for the par 3? guy goes to put the mic toward the winner's mouth and hits the trophy. luckily it didn't brake, but you can hear it resonate for about half a second.

Going to the in-law's this weekend.... YES! All the males of the family are golf fans and that's normally what's on when I go over. When I'm at home watching golf, I don't feel all that into it because there's no one to talk to about it... that along with the Mrs. telling me how boring it is.

There's a lot of things lame about the Green Jackets and the way they run Augusta. The schmaltz and extra genuflecting makes me want to puke every year.

The course and the golf itself are great. Everything else can get thrown in the trash.

I know he won't win, but Fred Couples' consistency at Augusta is ridculous.

I have Scott, Snedeker, Couples, and Kaymer in my Masters pool. Aside from Kaymer, pretty happy so far.

I just like watching Bubba Watson. He approaches the game like a weekend golfer. "hold my beer, I'm gonna go for it"

Final round should be roller coast like usual.

Bubba -- 1 for 8 when going to the final round with a lead or tied
Spieth -- Has been in position numerous times already this season but can't finish it off. Will the nerves get to him?
Kuchar -- My pick at the beginning of the week at 20-1 odds. Hasn't sealed the deal in either of the previous 2 weeks when he had golden chances to win
Blixt -- He bought me a shot after the PGA last year so I gotta root for him a little bit.

Who else? The Mechanic? He likely blew his stack Saturday. Fowler's got the Butch magic working for him but he may have also blown his stack. Can't really go much further back than that as there haven't been too many Masters winners in the last 25 years who haven't played in the final 2-3 groups.

I like Bubba. I root for tiger (flame away, but golf is more fun when there's someone that can go out and obliterate every record), but if Tiger isn't winning, I sure hope it's Bubba.
