I golfed at Ron Jaworski's Riverwinds Golf Club in West Deptford, NJ on Sunday. Really, REALLY nice course, unfortunately with it being windy on Sunday being close to the river didn't help. Nice views though

I love the bubble at RMU. Nice place to casually get the body into the swing of things (heh heh) and as a student its cheap.

Pretty much. @I40, not so much on the weekend, since the leading groups don't go out until after 1, but it's nice when you are working from home and nothing else is on :pop:

one of the statiosn got in trouble for piping in fake bird songs during telecasts. the story was that some knowledgable bird watchers were watching a tournament and heard some bird song from a bird that lived in like south america and the tournament was in the northwest or whatever.

Hopefully CBS doesn't fake that part.

well...it wasn't an angry "F@#*!!!" He was laughing and said, "How the f#$@ did it do that?" I think he expected his ball to release a little more and it just stopped on a dime.

I have been trying to find Brian Regan's stand up bit about this guy but I cant. It was hilarious.

Well of course, he is 53. But he has always played this course well.

Much like Watson in The Open Championship a few years ago (I am still somewhat sad he lost :( )

So I'm going to a focus group in Bensalem, PA today to talk about the Masters. Any likes or dislikes you want me to pass on?

Not getting cash this time, but a $100 Masters Gift Bag. Meh.

Shad, they are still looking for recruits for Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. Interested?

It's a legit place. Have done focus groups and tastings there before for cash.

Tell them how much you hate all the reverence and hushed tones. Everything is 'well-judged' or 'beautiful', etc etc. This is one week where you can hit crap shot after crap shot and you won't get critiqued nearly as much as if you did it at say, the US Open. People want to give Johnny Miller high criticism for telling it like it is when star golfers make mistakes in crucial championship situations. But at least he won't sugarcoat it like the CBS clowns do. This is one week where I try my best to watch the golf with the sound turned all the way down because of all the sugaryness.

Example -- Peter Kostis made reference today to the 'beautiful Georgia pines'. Has anyone ever seen any ugly Georgia pines?
