I just signed up for DirecTV. Got a package that usually costs 80+ dollars for 47.99 a month, plus free NFL Sunday Ticket (which is usually 390 bucks).

Will you get the Sunday Ticket To Go as part of that? Last year it was a $50 additional charge or $350 if you were not a Directv subscriber.

Yup. I'm not really sure what that is, though.

*edit*
Looked it up. I probably won't use it much, but at least I'll have the option of watching games on my phone. Good thing I have the unlimited data plan.

A little off topic but what DirecTV package includes ROOT? My gf has the most basic package ever and I keep bugging her to upgrade to whatever one includes ROOT. Do you have to get a package that its included in or can you add it to any package?

It's part of the Sports Pack. It's 12.99 a month. Make sure you are considered part of the viewing area before you add it because it'll block out pro sports events if you are not.

If you're in the ROOT sports viewing area, you can get the Choice Xtra package, and it will be included in that.
If you're not in the ROOT sports viewing area, you can get it with the Sports Package, but Pens/Pirates games will be blackout. You'd have to get NHL Center Ice and MLB Extra Innings to watch the actual games.

Basically. I fall into a weird zone where I don't get ROOT with Choice Xtra but I am considered in the viewing area therefore Pens games won't be blacked out with the sports pack

290 for both. The first and the ream of paper I got for 132 after a 30 dollar off 150 coupon code. Then 45 mins later I saw they were still selling them but I had heard they canceled the orders using the coupon code, so I took one at sale price w/o code for 160 or so and hoped that went through. Turns out they both did.

Not sure if this qualifies as "amazing deal", but here is how you can get 90,000 Delta Air miles for $990 (it corresponds to getting a roundtrip US ticket (25K miles) for $270, or getting a roundtrip trans-Atlantic ticket (50K miles?) for $550):

Until September 30, Delta gives 100% bonus on mile transfers. The maximum you can transfer in 1 transaction is 30K miles. It will cost you $30+$0.01/mile = $330. You just need to tranfer this amount to your relative, friend, etc. (the only requirement is, I believe, that the other account has some miles in it). You lose 30K miles, your relative gains 60K miles. Then, your relative will send you the 60K miles back (in two 30K transactions) for 2*$330. Your relative will lose 60K miles (ending up at the original 0), you get 120K miles.

The net: You earn extra 90K miles (120K less your starting 30K) for 3*$330 = $990

i got the HP touchpad for $99 at wal mart. still kicking myself that i didn't buy more when i could have, but i bought it at full price expecting the price decrease the next day - which occured and i got credited the difference. could have purchased 20 of them easily and made alot of cash.

anyways, i do have an ipad already and once you do the various speed tweeks to the touchpad it is probably a better experience than the ipad - aside from the apps. just email, web browsing, etc the touchpad for me is better but the whole package the ipad is superior since there are so few apps on the touchpad. if you just want a tablet for surfing the web, email, facebook, playing flash websites, etc the touchpad is great. no matter what its a steal for $99 especially when android gets ported, which it definitely will eventually.
