If you've purchased an LCD HDTV in the last two years, it probably won't show noticeable blur at its standard 60Hz refresh rate.
Hmm, this is contrary to other stuff I have read, particularly with respect to watching sports. I will have to investigate further, because 60hz held me back from some good deals.

yup I have a samsung 60 hz and haven't noticed any issues. It's primarily used for watching sports and playing video games, I'd buy another one if it came down to it because I've had no problems with it.

If you plan on gaming in 3D then you might want 120 hz but if you aren't then you should stick with 60hz since most consol games run at or below 60 fps.

Pretty sweet for $35 or whatever. Great sound. Really like the yAired technology but it's basically a remote. Overall for the price I paid it's hard to find a complaint. I just wish it was portable, but I'll survive.

It was either a Dyson or a 24 inch monitor on ebay's daily deal for 125. My vacuum has seen better days and is pushing 7-8 years old, so it's a justifiable purchase. The monitor wouldn't have been. I have been looking to upgrade my desktop setup, but it's very low on my list of priorities since a) I'm on my laptop and iPad more than my desktop and b) monitors are constantly on sale on eBay, even if it isn't in their daily deals.
