Accuweather has a long history of overvaluing the El Nino. Set up perfectly in 2008-09, but we'll see what happens this winter.

2008-09 was absolutely ridiculous in southeast PA.

That was when we had the three snowstorms that each dumped two feet or more down here. The rest of the state had a relatively mild winter, but the stretch from Philly to Baltimore got pummeled by Nor'Easters. It was a lot of fun, actually. I remember driving back to Philly from Altoona the morning after one of the storms. Altoona got about five inches, I get home and I had to dig through 2 and a half feet of snow. Took me an hour to get to my front door.

NAN and twc discussions in that thread are both the only reason that its still around and really annoying. No one cares about Wii.
