Yeah I really need to jailbreak and tether at home. I'm afraid to do it. But it could save me $40 a month, and sadly with the **** internet i have at home, i'd have faster speeds.

That's exactly why I bought the iPhone and set up a tether account.
I was able to ditch my home internet and even with 3G it's faster.

That would be pretty sweet, although I think it would make the phone a little bulky.

That’s one of my main concerns when it comes to phones. I very much like the dimensions of my Blackberry Tour 9630. It’s easy to pocket and small enough that it can fit easily in a belt holder. Newer smartphones are getting pretty large. While they are thinner than a Blackberry, the Samsung Galaxy and HTC Evo, for example, are more than an inch longer than my Blackberry, and the new iPhone 5 will be half an inch longer. While I recognize that people like a nice screen for their phones, they’re getting big enough to be a little unwieldy. I carry my phone for business purposes, and I carry it much more than I use it. I hope that when RIM finally coughs up new phones, they don’t follow that trend. If not, then I’ll be looking elsewhere for something more compact.

I'm still torn by the iPhone.

Have a Mac at home so it would work well with that with the Cloud.

But very used to my Droid X and would have to change a lot.

Not a lot of "wow" in the new iPhone, but is the bigger screen and 4GLTE worth making the jump?

I just got (or rather, my company just bought me) a brand new Bold 9930. what I like most about it is the size. It's so much thinner than the older model. Now, the appstore for Blackberry is still total crap, but I really have no complaints about the phone itself.

I have Verizon and am still unlimited. That will change when I get a new phone. However depending on where you are, being on wifi makes the cap really a non issue.

Well for me, I have wifi at work. I also have Wifi at home. So I'm constantly connected.

When I'm at my parents house, they even have wifi. There's just not too many establishments that don't offer wifi anymore.

I believe I read Apple has their own Maps app now, and from what I'm reading about it it seems better. I'll find out when the update finishes downloading.

No, if you're on your iPhone just go to Settings > General > Software Update. You should see it there and can make it download IOS6. May take a long time since it just got released though.
