From what i've read its people in countries that the phones aren't available, even at retail stores. I dunno why they are doing it either, but they are.

i just wish the thing had some more buttons - i might give an iphone a chance

i really like having a full keyboard and the options for that are getting less every year.

I dont think i'll ever own a phone with a keyboard. a touchscreen is so much faster to type than a keyboard.

i actually cant comprehend you saying this.

i never use the on screen keyboard on my Tmobile G2. its far too annoying.

after a wave at the beach stole my phone in 2010 (the first Android phone the Tmobile G1), I used this one for a few months. you could see my phone usage cut in half on my statement while I had it - internally it was exactly the same as my G1, but I had the hardest time using a touch screen.

I was really hoping the Nokia Lumia 920 would be released for Tmobile but that doesn't look like its going to happen. The just announced HTC 8X looks like a great option when it's available in a few weeks:

I hate the actual keyboards as well.

I was very reluctant to go with an on screen keyboard, but would never use anything else.
I only type with my left hand (on the phone) and have no problems with speed/agility.

It's just a personal preference I guess. My fat fingers dont lend themselves to easy use of a keyboard when the buttons are less than a half centimeter square.

the screen buttons are smaller!

i can also type without looking, something i cannot do without being able to feel where on the keyboard my fingers are.

makes my Departed-style mafia showdowns easier to organize.

if you have ample experience with both, there's no way a touchscreen keyboard is faster than actual keys

just ordered the iphone, btw. i was leaning towards the windows phone, but the hassle in losing all my apps and familiarizing with a new OS wasn't worth it.

Even with swipe? I can swipe and come in the general area of the key and its fine. I could type a 100 word text in like 30 seconds.

If you're just finger poking, a physical keyboard might be faster. Not sure how one would be faster than using swype though.

So if I would have preordered through my carrier I would have gotten the phone today but since I preordered through Apple we have to wait 2 weeks? that sucks.

once you use it for a while it learns your style and corrects it accordingly.

Upgrades in October and November so thinking about getting two for me and my wife for Christmas which means we can roll down the old ones to the kids. On contract its the same price as an iPod Touch.

Hearing great things on the LTE for all carriers.

So with my 2.5 year old 3gs iOS 6.0 has really improved the speed and reliability of iTunes Match.

You mean you have to press the word after you type it out? That's strange. Is there a setting you can change? I don't have the iPhone, but I do have a Galaxy S2, and I never have to confirm words. I do occasionally have to erase one or two because it added the wrong word.
