It does not, but you can try getting that to stick. Those wild hog shows are popular nowadays so maybe you can start calling them loose sausages and copy rite/trademark it or whatever and sell t-shirts. Maybe make a "who let the loose sausage out?" song.

Which electric bass guitar (used or new) would you recommend for a 12 year old (currently plays violin [intermediate] and stand-up bass [beginner])?

Fender Mustang, partially because they are short-scale.

It depends on what they want to do with that instrument.

If it was just a kid who wanted to play bass, I would suggest something cheap, in like a starter package. When I started I got around a $300 some package that had a cheap Ibanez bass, mini amp, gig bag, chord, cable, beginner lessons VHS, and some other small things.

That way, if the kid grows tired of it, a lot of money wasnt wasted. In this case, it sounds like a more serious musician (possibly). YOu still may not want to get something super expensive because it may take a beating to someone learning, but, with the other instrument experience, maybe not.

Now, I played in a heavy band with lots of stage movement where equipment can take a beating, so I got and Ibanez EDB series bass. That thing is solid. So, unfortunately, I do not think I can help you out a whole lot if it is a serious musician looking for a super quality instrument to produce the tones and sounds needed to perhaps match the experience of the more classical instruments you mentioned.

If the kid just wants to join a rock band though, pick a price range, and find something that works. I prefer Ibanez as you can see.

If that is not the case, my answer would be to ask a community that knows more about higher quality stuff. Reddit can sometimes be the butt of the internet, but there are a lot of quality subreddits. Try - http://www.reddit.com/r/bass

Should Admin's kid still use the beginner VHS, or would the internet work better?

Never had Zatarain's so I would have to say Ben's.

Honestly though:

They have some pretty tasty concoctions and it's cheap

I knew I would get a comment there.

Use the VHS! We are spoiled in this day and age. I plan to shelter my kids from new technology and then have them think I am an awesome parent for getting them the new, cutting edge, playstation (one). That way I can slowly move them along as the old technology becomes cheap. So have them use VHS for now and then get a $10 traditional DVD player eventually and buy their love for only $10!

They are lonely under those bridges by themselves all day. They have to eat too. We should put those quarter machines with the fish/duck food on every bridge and make a killing.

Actually, trolls should not be fed so they will die! But new people are not aware of the trolls and keep feeding them. And then those who do know they are there and still feed them are just stupid and don't realize that by getting angry, they feed them, which is exactly what the troll wanted.

I searched the thread for rain. Twice people asked "Who'll stop the rain", but I saw no instances of "Have you ever seen the rain".

They are more popular for:

But they are quick and easy sides to make and cost like a dollar or two. There is usually a decent sized section in the grocery store with all of these and other brands...bunch of different flavors/styles or noodles and rice. Not high class dining, but good in a hurry.

Search function is tough, and I am pretty sure it is in there...but, you know, maybe my answer has changed in the time since.

I am not big into horror movies, so I did a google image search. Night of the Demons image search is going to give me nightmares. Sleepaway camp seems much less "this demon is going to eat your soul" - so I will go with her.

But please...tell me the plots of these movies so I can figure out what I may be in for now.
