Rather than start a new thread I figured I'd actually use the omnibus thread for its intended purpose. Shocking, I know.

I'd feel better about the prospect of Kemoeatu being gone forever if not for the fact they cut Colon only to stupidly bring him back. It's killing the Steelers that they aren't yet able to reunite the Wonder Twins on the right side of the line.

Steelers will receive 3 compensatory picks in round 7, to give them 4 total in the 7th round. I believe these are compensation for losing Keyaron Fox, Matt Spaeth, and Nick Eason the prior year.

How hard is it to get tickets for Steelers games? I'm looking to come Pittsburgh next year for a few Pens games and would like to go to a football game as well, would be easiest to stay in the same city for that.

Not too hard. If you have the $ super easy..you can get seats for roughly a 40% markup easily. Say a 500 level seat will be around..$100 Ish?

Here's a fun little set of ratings that puts Isaac Redman among the best RBs in the league, but not our beloved Mr. Mendenhall.

It also has Steven Jackson and Ray Rice very lowly rated. Its a fun stat, but I think it misses its mark.

Ike Taylor was 5th in the NFL in yards/pass allowed, 8th in success rate, and 10th in YAC. That's fairly ridiculous. And he was targeted more than anyone else in the top 10. (For reference, Darrelle Revis in 2009 was 1st in yards allowed and success rate, and 3rd in YAC.) Last year was a poor man's Revis Island performance from him.

Gay was 9th in yards/pass, 18th in success rate, and 36th in YAC. Those aren't the numbers of a crappy CB, but they are numbers of a CB who tends to whiff on tackles. Keenan Lewis was 18th in yards/pass, 69th in success rate, and 1st in YAC.

They never cut Colon. They just keep keeping him.

Ike Taylor is honestly one of my favorite Steelers. I feel like his remaining career is the remaining window of opportunity for our defense, barring some ridiculous draft find.

Guess the Steelers want another tackle on the team so they can bench Gilbert.

Nothing. However we know the Steelers would never think of benching the second coming Tony Boselli so Gilbert must be the guy they feel they may need to replace.

I don't think they are replacing Colon as much as they are getting ready for his early season-ending injury.

Maybe they finally realized Colon is a guard.

Sure, on twitter.

I don't know about his workout habits, considering he came in overweight a couple years ago.

That mock draft forgot to add the ery.

No way the steelers draft a TE in round one.

I was going to post that today. I'd be livid. I like the ILB from Alabama route. Could come in and play now, and the last player the "experts" said a player the Steelers targeted "was made to play for the Steelers," we drafted Troy Polamalu.

Not going to cover it. We need to draft a tight end in the first round.
