I dug the band Dhani was pushing recently with Ben Harper and Joseph Arthur. I saw Ghost of a Sabertooth Tiger (Sean's band) at a tiny club in town and you wouldn't have ever known he was John's son. Very average indie-freak folk.

Dhani's other band, Fistful of Mercy:

I think the whole thing is beyond moronic. The Beatles were an organic band that grew together; whatever their kids put together would be akin to a new, crappier, reality-tv version of the Monkees.

I'd rather see Warrant re-form and I definitely don't want to see that.

Somewhat similar situations were not exactly smashing successes. Dino,Desi and Billy in the 60's (sons of Dean Martin, Desi Arnaz and ?); Gary Lewis ans the Playboys (son of Jerry Lewis) and Nancy Sinatra were very forgettable performers.

Well These Boots Were Made For Walking ti make number 1 on the pop charts. The lyrics on that song bugged me. "I just got me a brand new box of matches and what he knows you ain't had time to learn". What the matches knows?

If you want to expand your mind, I suggest you listen to Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood sing Some Velvet Morning:

I remember that duet without thr link." Fadra (sp?) is my name", something blah blah daffodils. I shouldn't have said she was forgettable; I probably remember all her main tunes including Stay Away From Lightning's Girl.
