The Dude just put up a blog post saying the Big XII will not expand because Texas and OU don't want to, among a few other members. Said the Big XII is dysfuntional and is run only by one or two voices.

Said the Big XII has at least 6 to 7 schools (names FSU, Miami, Clemson, GT, Louisville and Maryland) would all answer "yes" to a Big XII invitation and would be gone in a heartbeat, but Texas doesn't want to.

Said they are passing up the chance to "kill the ACC". And said that chance may not be there in the future and doesn't understand why they won't do it now.

Said FSU is in, Clemson has until that date to accept (which he thinks they will), and if not, GT will immediately accept. Expansion is happening this Friday according to him.

i don't want to drag the PSU thing into here, but just had an overall question about IF a death penalty or something that cause a football program to shut down. The schedules are already made aren't they? That week that they were to have a game, does the other team just have a bye? Is it a forfeit? does the team have an opportunity to reschedule?
