[quote="slappybrown"... resulting from the ACC having snubbed WVU back when Pitt/Cuse announced their moves. [/quote]

It goes back MUCH MUCH further than just the last few years.

The original snub was decades ago. WVU fans have LONG harbored antimosity towards the ACC (while secretly pinening for an invitation to join.

Even leaving aside the random rumor churning, when things did happen, he had nothing on it before it was announced. You had to turn to actual reporters with sources for that.

But NAN doesn't believe reporters. He only believes Dude.

Bret Bielema is leaving Wisconsin, which means they need a new head coach. Hey, are there any former Wisconsin coordinators who may want to return?

I don't know, but word is FSU to Big XII by end of next week. That is the new hot rumor.

I just can't see PC turning on a program so quickly that gave him his chance. He doesn't seem like that type of guy. Todd Graham, on the other hand...

That wasn't from the Dude. I guess some radio host from ESPN's Dallas radio show said today that "a little birdie" has told him that FSU is going to the BIg XII very soon, possibly by the end of next week.

So now it's hitting all the message boards. Dude did not start this one.

The move from Pitt to Wisconsin is much more substantial than Pitt to ASU, Graham wanted out and took what was available. Wisconsin is a legit job that Chryst would be foolish to pass on, he might never get a chance for a job like that again.

I know I post a bunch of rumors, and a lot of them are to just jag off Rocco, but the two I said I believed are that Maryland was going to the BIg 10 and FSU will move out of the ACC. Just look at their actions, commetns from their BOTs, etc. And I truly believe if FSU leaves, the ACC is done.

FSU/Clemson/GT/Miami to Big XII

UVA/UNC to Big 10

NC St/VT to SEC

Duke might be able to hitch a ride with UNC, and hopefully Big XII would go to 16 and take Pitt as one member.

But I've felt FSu and UMD had one foot out the door.

If a weatherman predicts rain every day, does he get credit when it eventually rains?

NAN is just trying to take his mind off another Pitt coach bolting.

Saw that. Hopefully it holds up.

Was reading the pay stuff. Seems some of the core "insiders" are very confident he is staying.

Yeah, I was all :scared: when I first heard the news, but after reading what Chris Peak wrote about what he has heard from sources and recruits, I feel much better. Barry Alvarez pushed hard for PC to get the Pitt job, I just don't see him going after him 11 months later. Not saying that it couldnt happen, but Alvarez never seemed like that kind of guy to me. If this was 2 or 3 years from now, Id be shaking. Could be a blessing in disguise for Pitt fans that the Wisky job opened up much earlier than we anticipated.

Still don't get why Bielma would leave Wisky for Arkansas.

I'm not sure the veracity of this, but ESPN radio said there was something about how Urban Meyer was recruiting or something that Bielema didn't like (or he was afraid of losing recruits to Meyer).

I dunno, but to me it looks like he's jumping ship because he knows the Montee Ball years were his best bet and now that they're trending down, he wants out.
