I'm pretty sure their strength of schedules were similar stats wise.

I don't hate Notre Dame. I just thought it was obvious throughout the season they weren't a #1 team. If they were the same exact team, but at a different school not a household name, there wouldn't be a #1 ranking attached.

I've never been much of a ND fan but my dislike for them has intensified recently because my sister's fiancee is an obnoxious ND fan. He had a huge hissy fit on Facebook when Te'o didn't win the Heisman. He has no ties to the school other than he's Catholic, which is another thing that annoys me about ND fans.
