The Colts were 13 of 19 on 3rd down today...converting a number from 7+ yards out. Andrew Luck broke the rookie passing yards record with 433 and would have had at least 50 more yards if not for some terrible drops (including a would-be long TD to T.Y. Hilton). Just an awesome QB, I thought he'd be something special, even I didn't realize how special of a talent he is. In terms of pure talent, he has to rank pretty highly vs. the rest of the league already and I can't imagine what happens after he figures it all out and fully adjusts to the speed of the game. Terrific performance by him and his worst throw (or just about his worst) was the long TD to Hilton...

You have a rookie QB on a team with no defense, no running game and a ton of rookies playing all over the lineup and if the playoffs started today, the Colts are very much in them at 5-3. What a terrific job Luck and Wayne have done this year...

No, I though Clark's hit was fine (I assume we're talking about the same play, but I'm not a steeler fan so I've only watched a little of the game, including a replay of that). Middle of the field in an attempt to break up a scoring play.

The thing that's driving me nuts is these slip screens...a WR catches it in a stacked formation kind of and runs inside towards the linebackers and perhaps even a DE that's in contain (realistic scenario with Luck)...they make me nervous because a lot of teams try to bump our WRs at the line (Wayne is not overly physical, Hilton is a little rookie, Avery is a fringe NFLer), so Luck just slings these things into the WRs chest for minimal gain but a lot of panic for a supposed safe play...don't like them too much, something that I believe is a product of Arians...

Cowboys defense is solid. Their offense is anemic, awful, and several other pejoratives.

Yeah, exactly. The Cowboys Defense is about as good as anyone's, especially the last several weeks. The offense is incomprehensibly bad though. And as bad as Romo is with some horrible turnovers, I think the playcalling is the biggest problem with the offense.
