I care. The Steelers are one of the standard bearers of excellence in the modern age of football.
As a fan, that is something to celebrate and be proud of.

So you're saying that if the 49ers won the next 2 super bowls you wouldn't be proud that "your team" had won the most super bowls?

I mean some fans go overboard with it, but it's not really that hard to see why people would care...

I dunno. I don't think I would. I never threw it in Steelers fan's faces around here when the 49ers had 5 and the Steelers still only had 4. I guess it's something nice to boast about, I just don't see why it's a huge deal if another team ends up with the same number of Super Bowl wins.

Again....on the afc side, I could care less which team wins. I hate them both. The problem win be nfc side, I hate harbaugh. I also think Atlanta is extremely overated. I guess ill watch the super bowl for the commercials.

This is the exact reason I don't make a big deal about that. Being the only team to have 6 SBS is very trival espically when the next team behind you only has 1 less SB. I'm not really proud that were the only team that has 6 SBs because it's not a very big deal when there's not a large gap that separates the rest of the pack. It's certainly doesn't mean enough to want to root for a team to lose in the SB so that record gets perserved.

I'll probally be rooting for the 49ers to win the SB if Atlanta doesn't beat them because I do like the players on the team and even though I think Harbaugh is a major tool, I do have some respect for him because he is a good coach.
