To me the best part of this game was that losing it hurts. Expectations are, and should be that we can hang with them. The offense was out of synch all night, and it appeared to be because McGloin was a bundle of nerves in the pocket as OSU seemed to take away his short options.

Purdue is the worst team in the conference. I don't see how beating them proves much of anything.

It's obvious that OSU is #1 in the conference. Where would you put PSU? Traditionally the Outback and Capital One bowls are the #3 and #2 B1G teams. Is PSU behind Nebraska, Michigan or Wisconsin in your eyes? They play Nebraska, so we'll see how they play against them.

Yeah, probably about the same as Michigan, in that they play well most games but have pretty consistent let-downs, but definitely behind Nebraska; you'll also get your answer about Wisconsin in 2 weeks. I fully expect them to get blown out today, and I think the Wisconsin game -- the last game for seniors -- to be competitive. I also think that Indiana is better than their record would have you believe and will test the PSU defense.

Bottom line is the defense has been flat against offenses with speed all year, and the offense has been unreliable with the exception of McGloin. He's been overachieving in all year.
