Orams Donuts/Local Homemade Donuts

Oram's is some good stuff...I have only had the huge cinnamon roll things. When that hospital transplant drama based around PGH was still no TV, Orams was mentioned and the box made a cameo.

There is a little place out in Martinsburg called Mamie's which is out by Altoona that is only opened for breakfast and lunch and their donuts are the best I have ever had.

I had 2 nephews go to Geneva, but somehow missed out on Orams. WQED/R Sebak has included Orams in part of a show. They appear to be delicious.

Just got some stuff from there Saturday. They're about a three-minute drive from my house, which is trouble. They're some of the best I've ever had.

There's a really big push to try to keep local business with them, as a Dunkin Donuts location just opened just a few blocks down the road from Mac's.

The Amish donuts are unreal. I'm not sure if they have a specific name or not but they are constantly at different locations and events...the line is always super long they as they are there making fresh donuts on the premises

Yeah, it's hit or miss. I do like DD's coffee so I'll sometimes stop in there on the way to work for a coffee. And I will admit that Dunkin's Boston creme donuts are also a weakness of mine. In general, though, Dunkin's donuts are nowhere near the level of Mac's.

Just stopped at Donut Chef in delmont pa. OMG!!! dude they are just wow. You get out and it smells like fresh baked bread. Inside they have all the usual but they are fresh and cheap. Glazed was like. 39 for 1. I got an assortment of 6 for 3.29. Cinnamon rolls were yummy and glazed was fresh and sweet. They also have an assortment of fresh baked bread. Cheap prices on all and I'm def going tl get a loaf of pepperoni bread next time. They had day old loafs for 1.25. All of the bread and pastures are cooked in an old stone oven. God I can't wait to go back.
