When you're in a tough division with playoff hopes you can't throw away games against bad teams. I doubt the Raiders will reach the .500 level.
And the injury gods punish the Steelers some more. We may lead the league in knee injuries. This is a well deserved loss by the black and gold. As one sportswriter wrote about a putrid Steeler performance" They should have to ride a bus filled with crap with a loud siren blaring in case anyone passes out". I'd add the bus driver should go very slowly. I disagreed with the 9-7 non-playoff prognosticators but the Steelers need a 180 degree turnaround at this point.

8-8 this season. Forget the playoffs

We live close enough that I'll be happy to bet you $50 they do better.

I'd take that money too.

Some people seem happier when they lose because they're "right," then when they win a close game. It befuddles me. Bioshock predicts they lose, then doesn't post again until it comes true so he can post he told you so. Wtf is that?

so i guess it was really silly to get all worked up about how they didn't distance themselves from oakland in the first half.

you keep a team hanging around, and this is what happens. when there's blood in the water, don't take stupid penalties and turn the ball over. but this is pretty typical steelers football under the tomlin regime, so i'm not surprised. nor am i writing them off.

Lost one to Baltimore, one to the NFC East, and two to SD/Cinci/NFC East. Denver is good, this game was flukey insofar as we dominated the yardage. Troy and Harrison lift the D.

I think you're wrong about Denver being good.Atlanta and Houston revealed them for what they are. I really believe the Broncos and Eagles were the 2 most over-rated teams by the talking heads.

It's not too bad, We just can't run the ball or stop a QB like Carson Palmer. Everything else is fine.

It's amazing that the Raiders O-line had no holding penalties.

That is all

I understand its a 16 game season...but it's the raiders. I hate how this team constantly plays down to its opponents.

I only got to see parts of the game on the Red Zone channel.

The hysterics and baghdad bob routines didn't tell me much.....who/what blew it?

Who are Steeler fans rooting for this evening?

A stadium collapse?

Nobody blew it. They just lost to a desperate team. The Raiders just wanted it more, and it showed.
