Yinzer meltdown

Some people seem happier when they lose because they're "right," then when they win a close game. It befuddles me. Bioshock predicts they lose, then doesn't post again until it comes true so he can post he told you so. Wtf is that?

I was visiting relatives and got home right around the end of the game. Sorry i didn't post more.

Anyways, i'm not happy they lost. If you saw my reaction to the week one loss, then you saw i was furious. My attitude towards the Steelers is knowing that they will play down to their opponents and i know very well that any team that even has a pulse in the passing game will shred this defense. Kinda puts into perspective how bad Sanchez is.

Sorry if it came across that i'm happy. Not even remotely. Just numb to the pain.

Yep...and Lebeau's D is predicated on pressuring the QB. Whether it's the absence of 43 and 92, or the O-line being allowed to tackle our middle blitzer, or the schemes have been diagnosed and accounted for doesn't matter. When there is no adjustment to what the O is able to do, that is a lack of coaching and leadership.

You can go back and look at my posts (if your life is that boring) but last year, I was never convinced as to who this team was. We'd win a big one and lose easy ones.I'm not ready to say that this year yet.

I'm almost hoping for a 4-12, 5-11 season in hopes that just maybe they can find the next great player on defense in the draft.

It's gonna be a long year. I don't think we can count on Polamalu or Harrison being healthy for any length of time and they don't have anyone who can fill their shoes. Any time they don't get consistent pressure on the QB, they are going to give up a ton of points. As many weapons as the offense has, they are still failing to close the deal more often than not, and I am skeptical that they can win shootouts on a consistent basis... which they may need to do to win this year.
