Would you buy the "Ostrich Pillow"?

Postby llipgh2 on Tue Sep 25, 2012 11:11 am

Or at least support its' production?

I laughed...at first. But some people may buy it. I was suprised how much money has been put towards it so far.

I can see a lot of CMU geeks using this.

Catching a quick nap at their desks in Wean Hall between hours of programming.

it might be ridiculous, geeky, nerdy, or anything else along those lines, but people are buying into it. Donations are up 8,000 since this afternoon.

is kickstarter actually donations? do you get some sort of stake in it, or just helping somebody get started?

It's to help someone get started, so yeah donations, usually you get a special edition of whatever you backed in return depending on how much you backed them for.

and it's up another 9,000 on top of that. Currently at $67,000 in donations with 3 weeks to go.

There's a list of what you get if you donate 60, 75, etc.
