I have a friend offering me a barely played Wii with the following for 150.
Wii with all wires and stand 2 remotes 4 covers 2 motion sensor thingys 1 nunchuk 1 charging station Wii sports package with bat, tennis racquet etc. Wii accessories bag 15 games including Wii sports Wii play Wii sports resort Rayman rabids 1&2 Mario party 8
Well the wii was first out and really popular and you couldnt get it anywhere I had a buddy working on a military base and they had them there, $150 tax free. He sent two to his parents house, where I picked them up and exchanged the money. Felt like I was doing something illegal.
Long story short 3 years later I sold it for 150 Booya
looking at how much you would get for it if you traded it is silly. It's not an investment. It's a game. If you're going to use it enough to justify $150, get it. If not, don't. Nothing wrong with asking him if he'll sell it for $125 though

That. If the stuff works fine, that's one heck of a deal. Bnootb is around $150 with just a single game included.
When I'm away from home I think about getting out the guitar or turntable for some Guitar or DJ Hero. When I'm home, in the unlikely event my children are not monopolizing the TV, I'm usually too busy or tired to do it. It's a fun system. See if he will knock $20 off and take the deal.
I got DJ Hero 2 for Christmas 2010 and still haven't finished DJ Hero 1 yet.

Sold my Wii last year in a package deal. I had a little bit less in # of games and didn't have some of the other extras...but did have some things that package didnt. I either got 150 or a little less...somewhere over 100 though...maybe 120-150. A year later, I think you can get it for less. Buy maybe if you don't want half the games and can trade them in or sell them on craigslist you can make it worth your while.
looking on PGH Craigslist - seems a lot of people are offering Wii package deals with games/accessories. Check them out and maybe you can get a better idea. No one really pays the asking price and some of the packages start below 150 and have some good stuff with them.
