Congrats to Miguel Cabrera

Postby Big Easy Pens Fan on Wed Oct 03, 2012 8:42 pm

Triple Crown winner. First in 45 years. Third in my lifetime. Mantle in '56, Yaz in '67, and Cabrera in '12. All of the guys on MLB.com agree that they will not see this happen again in their lifetime. :thumb: :fist:

If Cutch was a serious baseball player he would take steroids to get a triple crown.

Yes, I believe Mike Trout probably has a chance. He's only 21 and he already has had a year worthy of MVP mention...he could still win that award, although I don't know how anyone but Cabrera could get it this year. He was on the cover of Sports Illustrated a couple of weeks back and he reminded me so much of a young Mickey Mantle. Get his rookie cards early...oh wait, too late, they're already rocketing in value.
