I love it. Makes winning the division important again. See that Rangers/A's game Wednesday? Awesome atmosphere, playing for the division title. Meaningless game if this was 2011.

If a rule is interpreted wrong (can't be a judgement call, so I'm not sure on this one. They're going to protest that it had to have been immediately called), you go back to that point in the game and re start it.

Play will be reviewed. If it is determined that the rule was applied incorrectly, the game will start up again back in the bottom of the 8th with the bases loaded.

I can't imagine it happens, but the misapplication of the rule couldn't be a whole lot more egregious than that.

To be completely honest, if he made that call right away, I think it would have been a good call. Easy play to make.

If this at bat ends with anything but a hit, you have to admit this is a pretty crappy ending to a career. Braves fan or not.
