That sounds like Scherzer too. One of the best al pitchers (in second half at least) - terrible era. I remember being shocked by his xfip numbers.

Yeah I agree that Scherzer would be a dominant pitcher (if you can't say that already) somewhere else. I just can't see Porcello turning a new defense behind him into much more than a 5th starter.

I'm sure they were used in spring training but I don't remember those jerseys at all. Wow, they're awful.

yeah the future jerseys, i think every team had a set. It was during Three Rivers era, so maybe 97-99

It was a "Turn Ahead the Clock" promotion throughout the MLB during the 1999 season. They actually wore it.
