Yes, that we need to work on the things that caused the collapses the past two seasons. But when asked point blank what those were, no one could give a straight answer.

I think it might help a lot to have Burnett and Rodriguez for a full year. Those guys aren't going to win the Cy Young, but you can definitely count on getting 6+ innings every time and not have to deplete your bullpen every other game. Karstens and Correia are two guys that always have trouble getting through the 5th inning. They really do need another veteran starting pitcher though, or we could just be dealing with the same problem with different guys.

There are only 2 reliable starters right now. Then Jmac obviously earned a spot in the rotation, but he's far from reliable.

If they want to be good, they need 2 more starters. Not gonna happen though. They'll end up getting one mediocre one, "innings eater" 4th or 5th starter and then we'll be forced to pray JMac and Locke/McPherson can go 5 innings.

Bullpen will then die in August again.
