I did, but that lasted about a week because I realized my plans to meet up with people when I was in Pittsburgh would have been tricky since no one had my cell #.
Now, I'm over the little tantrum, which is normally what happens with me post tantrum

One of my problems is I didn't get the flirt gene. I'll have conversations with guys, but the flirt junk is so fake , I can't play that game.

guys who are engaged; just means you're on the safe list... can't hit on you. or shouldn't.

kenny the kangaroo is becoming more and more of a negative nancy when it comes to long term outcomes of relationships. kenny the kangaroo is dwelling more and more about how relationships can fail instead of why they can be awesome and fullfilling. its not a good trend.

heres another social media question - friending their parents (or more likely being friended by them).

how would you deal with a friend request from his/her parents?

I'm in your boat, but I don't even get to the relationship part. Too many times in the past 3 years where something has gone wrong and it's affecting both my desire and ability (of sorts) to go after them. Too much focus on the negative.

a recent girl I dated never asked for my last name. if she was savvy enough should could have figured it out from my phone number, but it was almost like some kind of old fashioned courtship. no facebook, no email, no constant ims. that made it much more interesting.

She was Amish, wasn't she?

Must have assumed his last name was Byler.

This just further illustrates that there is infinite reasons to not have a facebook.

I've never really had a relationship in which I had any interaction with a female's parents. There was like 2 weeks there were I was more than your typical friend with a girl in high school and her mom loved me... However, it was kind of awkward because I skipped like 100+ days of school and she left for university that was kinda far and it didn't look like I was going anywhere so we just kinda stopped chilling. I was fine with it. I saw her at a friend of ours' funeral a year later and we talked about all growing up together... Really cool girl, I just kinda wish I had a plan back then... and I was as straight as I am now.
