Rylan, when you see her, bring her a **** in the box and see how she reacts.

If she smiles and reaches for it, it means there is something there.

If she screams and runs away, there wasn't.

If she points and laughs, you might have issues.

I met a beautiful girl on Saturday night. Got her number and we have been texting each other all day and all night since. I just asked her out on a date. That was 20 minutes ago and still no response. I think I already know the answer. :( Eff me!

omg, I could barely manage the whole dating quandary of call/don't call with a land-line phone. Multiple modes of communication (or lack thereof) would've driven me insane.

I had an uncertain situation about 10 years ago, so I just filed any emails from her in a folder labeled "???"

Did you have a set point when you'd transfer everything in the ??? folder into your junk/spam folder? :)

I'm asking because I'm an old lady who has been off the market for a long time:

How do you get a read on someone via text? Is it # of texts, topic, speed of response? It's just not a very rich mode of communication; so much is missing. You can't even tell if the prospect (for lack of a better name) can spell. :)

Whatever happened to the old days of young love? You tear out a piece of notebook paper, write a note asking "do you like me?" Check the yes or no box, fold and return.

Its as rich a mode of communication as LGP :pop: Basic stuff like can you make her laugh over text? Girls know if they like to read a guy's texts or if they are boring. At the same time is the text crafter a pretentious dbag? does he refer to people to write flirty texts as a "text crafter"? You can tell a lot from exchanging texts with someone for 2 days... My experience is mostly with 18-21 year old girls though

If I did that now, they probably couldn't read it. My writing sucks.

And a text just isn't the same :?

When asking the question: Is this real, true and lasting love?

Answer yourself with this question: Am I be okay being financially ruined by this person?

If so, then... yeah.
