How do you get a read on someone via text? Is it # of texts, topic, speed of response? It's just not a very rich mode of communication; so much is missing. You can't even tell if the prospect (for lack of a better name) can spell.

I'm asking because I'm an old lady who has been off the market for a long time:

How do you get a read on someone via text? Is it # of texts, topic, speed of response? It's just not a very rich mode of communication; so much is missing. You can't even tell if the prospect (for lack of a better name) can spell.

Its as rich a mode of communication as LGP Basic stuff like can you make her laugh over text? Girls know if they like to read a guy's texts or if they are boring. At the same time is the text crafter a pretentious dbag? does he refer to people to write flirty texts as a "text crafter"? You can tell a lot from exchanging texts with someone for 2 days... My experience is mostly with 18-21 year old girls though :shrug:
