The offense is capable of being great. In an average amount of possession time, they aren't going to score as much as most, but when they're on, they're gonna take a ton of time up and grind out a scoring drive of some sort. Not a good way to play offense when you're behind. When your defense is this mediocre, you're gonna be behind.

Good point re possession time. Hell, imagine how many more points our D would give up if the O didn't have the ball for such long drives.

Would anyone be mad if we were 5-11, 6-10 this year? Get some young legs on the team, draft high and reload. This team since the '03 team (6-10) has been a consistent contender, every year. Look who we drafted after that season...

I'd be fine with it if I didn't have to hear from Raven's fans at work about it. But I'd get over that. They definitely need to reload a bit. Of course, if the rebuild takes a bit, you may need a new QB as well. Ben isn't getting any younger.

I thought Saunders could be a real find.Hopefully he doesn't get claimed and the Steelers sign him to the practice squad(I think he's eligible)
One article said it could have been a money thing since Pope would get his years salary if cut now.

I wouldn't be mad if they went 6 and 10 if there was some other sports to watch this winter.

They NEED this guy to be a player too. This is just great. He obviously has some serious issues. This can't be a "one time thing" because it is way too OG.

They should have just said suspended indefinitely. It's not like he was playing anyway. Was he even dressing for games?
